Eastern Mennonite University’s field hockey team lost 3-0 to Bridgewater College on Saturday, Oct. 31, at the Turf Field in Harrisonburg, concluding its 2026 Old Dominion Athletic Conference and home schedule, according to an announcement from Eastern Mennonite University Athletics.
The teams were scoreless through the first two quarters, the announcement said. Bridgewater scored twice in the third quarter and once in the fourth to secure the win, according to the announcement. The final score was Bridgewater 3, Eastern Mennonite 0.
Eastern Mennonite finished the game with eight saves, one shot and one shot on goal, while Bridgewater had 33 shots and 11 shots on goal, the announcement said. The announcement listed Eastern Mennonite’s record as 0-15 overall and 0-8 in ODAC play, and Bridgewater’s as 9-9 overall and 3-5 in conference play.
Eastern Mennonite is scheduled to play at Meredith College on Saturday, Nov. 7, at 4:30 p.m. in a non-conference game, according to the announcement. The announcement gave no cost or contact information for the game.
