James Madison University’s Board of Visitors will meet at 8:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 13, in the Festival Conference and Student Center, according to a JMU announcement published Nov. 6, 2026.
The meeting will be available to watch on YouTube, JMU said. The announcement said the board will not take public comment. It listed Mary-Hope Vass at vassmg@jmu.edu as the contact for viewing difficulties.
The Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee will meet from noon to 1 p.m. in Meeting Room 3, while the Governance Committee will meet at the same time in Meeting Room 1, according to the announcement.
From 1:15 to 2:45 p.m., the Academic and Research Excellence Committee will meet in the Highlands Room, the Finance and Physical Development Committee in Meeting Room 3, and the Student Affairs Committee in Ballroom B, JMU said.
The Athletics Committee will meet from 3 to 4:30 p.m. in Ballroom B, while the Enrollment and Marketing Committee will meet at that time in Meeting Room 3 and the Philanthropy and Engagement Committee in the Allegheny Room, according to JMU.
